Google introduced a new real-time search algorithm last month. In fact 6 months ago a blog post could take around 10-15 minutes to be listed by Google’s bot. Nowadays it takes only 10 seconds. The power of Twitterers to tweet short messages in real time, changes the way that real-time search results appear at Google, Bing and other search engines.
Needless to say of course that Google is filtering very well against spam, what tweets are passing through and for which hastags. This is very necessary to keep the quality of real-time news and how they are presented.
